Life has been full of sweet, pure moments lately. The kind of moments that are rich with color, suffused with the joy of simply being and that seem to last longer than their few seconds. Rather, life is always full of those moments but I’ve been noticing and truly appreciating them even more lately.
Moments like standing in a bright field, sunshine warming your back, a strawberry picked fresh from the plants surrounding you, juice bursting in your mouth. Moments that would not get any better with fanfare or celebration. Sweet moments of everyday life that are made almost magically by being so fully in them.
Laughter, easy smiles, loved ones and life happening in the instant – nothing special and yet absolutely special.
While we wait in anticipation of those Big Life Events that we thinks are our lives, these are actually the moments life is made of, day to day. And they rank right up there with any Big Life Event with their unassuming sweet simplicity.
I am fortunate to know and recognize such beauty and wonder each day, I look forward to what today has to offer!
